We are delighted to share the fantastic news that we have officially partnered up with Vibrant Energy Matters to help drive decarbonisation efforts and increase the EPC ratings of properties across the country.
Who Are Vibrant?
Founded in 2008 with a primary focus on conducting Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), their range of services broadened from 2015 to encompass an array of residential property services. Over the years they have evolved into the premier provider of EPCs, and associated energy services, in the UK, with a track record of completing over 120,000 jobs annually for more than a decade.
Their comprehensive range of services include Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), gas safety checks (alarm testing & safety reports), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), property services (inventory, check-in/out & viewings), risk assessments (COSHH & legionella) and a range of inspections including compliance & audits.
Our New Partnership
Through a joint collaboration with Vibrant, we aim to provide a comprehensive service that identifies and delivers the suitable Energy-Efficient Measures (EEMs) for homeowners and landlords across the country.
From an initial consultation we’ll establish the requirements of the property and assess its suitability for a range of measures. This includes things such as checking its heat loss, whether the windows are double/triple glazed, and if there is insulation in the roof/loft, ceiling, walls, and floors.
Alongside this we’d use predetermined data from the Energy Performance Certificate to identify the most suitable measures to increase their properties’ EPC rating and overall energy efficiency. The new system will then be specified and designed to seamlessly integrate into the building and ensure maximum effectiveness.
Higher EPC rating = lower energy spending
We hope that this partnership will help to improve both the energy efficiency and EPC ratings of UK properties, allowing residents and tenants to benefit from a decrease in heating & energy spending!
Energy Efficient Measures (EEMs)
The main EEMs that we will be implementing include:
- Insulation (suspended/solid floor, room-in-roof, loft, internal/external and cavity wall)
- Solar photovoltaic & thermal panels
- Heating controls (TRVs, thermostats and remotes)
- Heat recovery systems
- Energy efficient lighting
